I don't know either, but since we're talking Nasuverse, it could easily be both at the same time, complete with parallel universes and The Matrix.

One of the bonus bosses in CCC is a fight with Caster back when she was the Original Antagonists's servant. She pretended to be a very serious persona, but was the same perverted goofball as your caster, and she had a rather cute ponytail.
