    I swear, Japanese mythology are the weirdest thing and they can make even the most mundane thing into somesort of horror story.

    I bet if I search for Japanese grass ghost story I will no doubt find a ghost based on growing grass.

    As far as I remember, there is a reference to blood-sucking grass in Touhou Suzunaan.
