Well, if you are talking about night fighters then there are a lot, even if they are not for that purpose, in real life of course. But well, right now, in the game, there still hasn't been any sign of carriers on our side can do night battles. And I was talking about that. Sorry I didn't make myself clear.

They were for that purpose though, the fighters where radar equipped and heavily drilled for night operations. It also wasn't just fighters, they were night air groups because they were fully night capable air groups including radar equipped bombers. These aircraft made a number of night radar attacks particularly on harbors that ships where sheltering in that where quite successful.
