So, Littorio doesn't want to share the spaghetti? Looks the Italians really love their pasta, so much that they don't even want to share it with other Italians

Dude, Italians are known to be VERY stingy (reads as: likes to save money whenever they can) so yeah.

I almost forgot that scene in The Castle of Cagliostro (the 1st one).

Never ran into that. What I did run into was the fact that Italians have VERY STRONG opinions on how eat something properly and the absolutely perfect way to enjoy a dish or meal. One Italian guy went on a rant about clueless Americans putting milk in their coffee all the time when it was only really appropriate to put it in the morning.

My experience regarding Italians and food is that they are very knowledgeable about it. The normal person might know 2 words for pasta: pasta and noodles. The average Italian knows at least 20 of them.

That only applies to people that live in Genoa (and, of course, that's just a stereotype).

I think all immigrants are stingy. As the family gets settled in and stable, the offspring generations are generally more lax. Still, it is never bad to be thrifty! You don't get rich by indulgence.
