You can also go with 'imprecise', 'lackadaisical', 'ambiguous' or even 'not meticulous ' - it depends on if you want to say that they're actively or passively being imprecise.

It means that someone is lacking in thoroughness and accuracy. I.e. Their answers are only 'about' right, not actually right.

So does Yuudachi's poi usually translate into valley girl speak? That's not the first time I've seen her translated like that.

Ah, for that, I'm following the example. I saw her verbal tic translated like that and I find that interesting, so I'm following in.

If you want to get techincal, it's not even really valley girl, as there's no simplification or slang used, just the insertion of 'like'.
