I've never understood why people treat the tail as being a weak point of Re's. Isn't it obviously the strongest portion of her body? Attacking it would be the last thing anyone would want to do.
Not sure about being strongest or weakest. But the tail is the most lulz-capable part of Re.
It plays with her, gives a ride for her, drags her, spit for her, pleasure her
That aside, Re's eyes are like she ran after Tenryuu to demand explanation about why her pudding disappeared from the fridge. While her tail is giving "told you not to do that" gesture

Maybe it's the same as fighting a man wielding Big Guns, You don't attack the gun, you attack the arm that wielding it, to disable him from using the firearms In Re's case Tenryuu slashed the neck of Re's Tail, so the weapon Re had on her tail are all dropped dead
