These are Papi and Centorea, the monster girls who appeared in the second episode of "Monster Musume no iri Nichijou". I drew them in the middle of procuring food like a falconer.

Actually most if not all birds are willing and capable of eating as carnivores. Even hummingbirds eat bugs if they can but they don't generally peruse them its just a 'if its in our path and can fit in our mouth' sort of thing. Even nut eaters will still eat bugs if they can. I doubt you would see them turning down the protein. They are all descended from small preditory dinosaurs after all.
