    デフォルメでシリアス漫画【パチュリーイズデッド】まとめ

    This is an example of that rare and delightful Alice who is very competent and skillful, always nice to see.

    And I can't try to guess the resolution without knowing what evidence she just got her realization from.
    Something to do with the Bookend spell's true nature, as it required the help of Komachi's distance manipulation rather than Sakuya's space/time manipulation. This something will reset Patchy and the summoned thing, allowing those gathered the opportunity to rescue Patchy's forcibly bound soul, or just defeat it at least.

    Something like that I'm thinking. Also possible she's tied in some form of restoration to original condition somehow, to go with original position. The fact the book is still just lying there is probably a sign the timer hasn't hit yet.

    Thanks to your analysis, I just had a SUDDEN DAWN OF COMPREHENSION.

    Remember when Patchy mentioned that the timer length depends on how much magic the user pours into the spell? Perhaps the reason that book hasn't been returned to the shelf (which, as you mentioned, is because the timer hasn't hit yet) means that there's a lot of magic being poured into it.

    Hypothesis: That book has Patchouli's soul stored in it, thus acting as a temporary phylactery. Now that Alice has caught on to what Patchy did before her supposed "death," the next course of action is to put Patchy's soul back into her body. Somehow.

    Let's hope I'm wrong. I love being surprised.

    The first part make sense, but still sound weird where she store her soul...My guess is it has something to do wit her book restoring spell, since Koa mention about this spell and Alice seems to have figure out something.
