Good lord, on the last dance I had to use both support expeditions to make sure all my carriers (Taihou, Akagi, Kaga and Hiryuu) reached Evil Kaga unscratched.
Had to use double chevron fighters (Reppuu's, besides the Reppu Kai and the Reppuu 601 Air Group that I got from previous events), torpedo bombers (Tomonaga, Murata, and Ryuusei 601 Air Group), Egusa dive bomber and I even brought Fusou with her Zuiun Model 12 seaplanes for good measure.
I almost lost an entire squadron of double chevron Murata bombers, but managed to do it. Having four carriers unscratched with a heavy support expedition really helped clearing those Tsu-class and elite late model DDs so that my BBs and CVs could focus on Evil Kaga and the Symbiotic BB Princess. Oh, and having Maya and Shigure with AACI setup also helps (used north route with CTF: C-E-G-H-L-Z).
