That, or -- as is much more likely -- Kenkou just put out an idea that you personally dislike.
I won't deny that it's strange, and certainly not for everyone, but it's by no means an indicator that they 'ran out of useful ideas' -- no more so than, say, insert-Pokemon-here meaning that Game Freak ran out of good ideas in insert-gen-here. You might dislike it, certainly, that much is both entirely your decision and your right, but to say that Kenkou's 'run out of useful ideas' is going a bit far.
Personally, I think that while it IS strange, and admittedly a little unsettling (I blame the delivery), there are some interesting ideas thrown around in this profile -- among them, the way an egg-slime's been handled outright (the white of the slime being separate yet manipulable by the yolk is a nice touch), as well as their general appearance (gotta admit, it's rather cute). I imagine that if not for the way it comes to be (impatient Jubjub wants out), it'd probably be a fair bit more popular, especially with the Sabbath crowd.
