Sharks has two ways of biting actually: one 'ichigeki hissatsu' kind when they're fully prepared to crunch everything to dust, and one 'what's this, izzit food' kind of biting that they used to determine whatever the object in front of them edible or not. Monmusu sharks maybe have 3rd option of 'hi imma shark' kind of biting....

I think this is a special tsundere kind of bite. Painful, but not lethal.
