Wow, instead of putting her in rehab, they just ended her carrier without remorse. The Idol world can be very harsh and unforgiving.

- Do drugs
- Overall career stops dead and is now a convicted criminal

Being caught with illegal drugs will get you slammed anywhere. Unless you're a US AAA celeb, then you get caught with tons of cocaine or meth and basically get a vacation.

I actually like Agiri's monotone voice a lot. Too bad.

Well this is a bit of a saddening piece of new, guess my hopes for a season 2 are gonna be even slimmer now worse with Agiri's delightful voice missing

Japan is pretty harsh on drugs. If you're caught, much less if you're an entertainer in the public eye, then your career is likely fucked, at least temporarily. It may take a while to get back into anyone's good graces. See how long it took L'arc en Ciel to get itself together after its drummer got busted for heroin. However, given Ai wasn't really doing much before getting busted, anyway, I'd think her career is probably dead.
