    I never thought that they would open at such a time or seen one do so, so I didn't look into it. (^^;) I decided to walk back to the station.

    Incidentally, during the morning, I walked from Miebashi Station to the Naha stores of Kojima/Bic Camera. Please check Google Maps for the distance.

    This was actually the day that I brought my broken Qua Tab to the au shop, so I thought about quickly buying a SIM-free tablet at Kojima.

    What you wrote was "'The price is on the right side' breakdown trumpet". It's not a matter of my mistranslating; you have to choose the correct Japanese. Relying on machine translation isn't going to do it. (Not to mention that I don't believe The Price Is Right ever aired in Japan, so even translating the title correctly wouldn't mean anything to the majority of Pixiv readers.)

    I walk about a mile to a mile-and-a-half into my office most every day (and a mile back), and I have to walk that far to get to anywhere else of note where I live, so that's about 1700 to 1800 steps in each direction (I don't have a pedometer, but between a rough estimate based on my approximate stride length and another estimate based on how many steps I take in the 30-to-40 minute trip, it's about that far). So, I at least make about 3400 to 3600 steps a day. And that usually doesn't count additional mid-week lunch and coffee trips, though those are generally very short.
    So, probably 5000 or less.

    I work from home part of the time so on days I have to go to the office I do ok, somewhere between 5 and 10k. On days I'm at home it can be under 1k!

    That's not counting intentionally going out and going for a walk.
