Looking over her lines, it doesn't seem to really come up. She only talks about Arashi and hating night battles, which means she's totally focused upon Vella Gulf and their sinking.
Holy crap I think I have a new favorite Kagero-class. I like the outstanding student feel she has. Plus she's sexier than Hamakaze and Urakaze and Isokaze.

Eye of the beholder. Hagikaze's a little too cheery popular girl for my tastes. Personally, I really like Isokaze's ("cool beauty") design. (And before someone says "black-haired Murakumo", yes, I like hers, too...)
