    「わかって作ってるでしょ?」って感じですね(笑)
    結局そばを通ったのは夜だったので寄れませんでしたとさ。
    画像はぐぐって出てきたサイトの写真を参考に描かせていただきました。

    Hang in There, Kogasa-san 1835

It had that "You'll make it once you understand, right?" feel to it. :-)

Ultimately, it was night when we passed through there, so we couldn't stop by. I Googled images and was allowed to use the photos on the site that popped up as reference for drawing. I've no idea if the site I found is the same one he did, but it does have several photos plus a short video.

    Whale oil bee dammed!
What mighty fine building have we here?
It looks quite a bit more inviting than that bloody ol' McDonald's Hamburger Factory!
(EDIT) I can't find any pictures of this "Manko Whale"... Is it just a sculpture, or can you go inside? The way Kogasa-san drew it makes it look like an actual building... Odd.

Reader-added tags include "Climax right from the start", "※She's his wife", and "Perverrrt!"

The survey would like to be under the sea, in an octopus's garden...or some marine life's habitat, anyway:

Which do you want to swim with?
    • Dolphin
    • Whale
    • Ocean sunfish
    • Dugong
    • Orca

It may be good to know that "manko" is Japanese for vagina...

That's the reason my sis's friend which is a returnee from Japan, is laughing her behind off when she learned that manko is very similar sounding to what we call a bowl here, which is mangkok..

And for my country, it's one wrong inflection away from the tropical fruit Mango. I'd imagine they'd have a fit of giggle every time they try to buy one at the local fresh market.

I am trying to decide if this qualifies for the Perverted Girls pool, but seeing that it's only Sanae-san who is being all ecchi here...

Or they'd get an unexpected eyefull

Man, I've only realized it just now.

By the way, for those who wants to know, ring is "cincin" and is pronounced the same as "chin-chin". I don't think I need to say what chin-chin is.

Might be worth mentioning that the Japanese term for a whale spray, "shiofuki", is exactly the same used to refer to squirting in the sexual sense. :P

Possibly a reference to Momotaros' catchphrase?

I Hear It Was Really There
Is there something you want to say?
Come to think of it, there's a lake in Okinawa called "Manko". Roughly, "Involuntary/Corrupt Lake". Calling it "Lake Man" would spoil the joke.
Why don't we go see it!?
I learned about this on the 'net...
There's apparently a whale monument in the park there.
    Flash-Flash-Flaaash
It seems that whale sometimes squirts salt water.
The Manko whale squirts salt water!!
