When I watched Evangelion for first (and heck, last) time, like 10 years ago, that was EXACTLY wtf I ended up thinking, at least the first and last panel's.
I guess this is what happens when people today try to watch anything beyond bimbos running around with some robots thrown in. Explains Tengen Toppa's popularity.
Now that's an unfair assessment. Evangelion was just one of those hit or miss shows. Some liked it, some didn't (self included) Honestly, people put way too much emphasis on that show because it was "deeply moving" or showed issues of "self-worth" or " self-awareness". The show was lame, Elfin lied was better
