Everyone knows what does it mean if a St.Louis is in a tier 3 battle.

Even now St.Louis could handle Furutaka in close quarter battle (if Furutaka doesn't use torpedoes.)

I wonder, if WG ever ends up nerfing the St. Louis, how would they do so?

Either a nerf to the reload time of the guns or to the rudder shift times.

I would think of it as a nerf to the effectiveness of HE combined with a buff to the accuracy of BB guns.

I'd go with debuffing the guns. Her speed is already painfully slow as it is -- barely 20kts, slower than most battleships.

Her turn rate is already pathetic and she struggles to dodge higher tier torps, a bit more would render her completely useless at bottom tier, as would nerfing her gun pen a bit.
