At one point in her life her turret actually exploded under mysterious circumstances like Mutsu.She however survives

Going by what I've heard about USN damage control during WW2. It kinda makes sense she would shrug off heavy damage with a simple "Oops!"

I keep forgetting she had that Turret #2 explosion incident. She'd make good friends with Mutsu soon enough.

She won't be teeheeing once she gets filled by loads of black turrets.

I just noticed that her after turret isn't gone but rotated behind her on an armature, and that her forward turrets have a similar arm in her undamaged sprite which could only rotate that assembly in front of her.

It seems she's been designed to be able to fire actual broadsides, like a ship. She can line all three of them up on the right to perform a broadside attack to starboard or rotate her rear turret back and her forward turret forward to do a broadside to port.

Nice detail from Yoshinori. I looked at his other designs and she's the first one to be designed like this. Maybe it's because, using radar, she doesn't have to be looking at her targets.

And incidentally to rotate her turret assembly in front of her the safest thing to do is lift her arms above her head.
