See, I just don't know whether the bear being named "Boko" is actual canon, or if it's one of those fanon things that's simply taken root everywhere. (I know that "Love Love Edition" has some sort of official webmanga imprimatur, but that's just not enough for me to think "okay, it's all canon".)

a) the name "Boko" is as canon as it can be - it has been mentioned in the movie, the mangas (plural), the merchandise, and even the director's twiter back when the series was being aired and fans wondered why the bear was covered in bandages b) "Motto Love Love Sakusen Desu" doesn't has "some sort of official webmanga imprimatur". That would be "Lovey-Dovey Panzer" - a fan webcomic made by the same author. It amused the series director so much that the Girls und Panzer Projekt hired its author to make a different, paper-publication-based, official comic (MLLSD). The first one is a silly yurifest very little faithful to character; the second one actually follows their writers bible and is actually more canon than the main series manga (that was retconned away). Kindly don't mistake both comics just because they have the same author - that's like mistaking, say, "Grave of the Fireflies" and "Ponyo by the Sea" just because they're both by the same author, too :-)
