I'm going to go ahead and say that I absolutely love designing characters, and that's actually what I want to do with my actual career. This account is a fun side though, and I'm glad I actually get to show off a bit of what I actually am aspiring to do for you guys.

TBT wanted a design of Viridi if she looked older, to which I happily obliged. I looked aorund at other Kid Icarus designs, and the ladies tend to show a decent amount of skin if they look over 18, so that was put on my to-do list for sure. I also wanted to preserve elements of her original design, such as the shawl on her shoulders and the red-pink dress combo. I actually took inspiration from Palutena's design for the general dress form, but added my own flairs and changes to it, throwing a bit of Phosphora in the midriff areas as well.

However my coloring kind of suffere for my enthrallment in the design. I basically just went with basic ambient shadows rather than anything environmental, and went from there, setting it up like a photo studio with a diffuse pink light. Then again, shading isn't particularly a concern when drafting up character sheets.

Hope you all enjoy it as much as I enjoyed drawing it. These commissions are nice to break up the pace of my usual work for this account.
