Honestly, as a child, I was given black coffee as punishment for acting up in kindergarten.. But they thought that the bitter taste would calm me down. But I grew to like it and also that coffee made me more hyper.

While stimulants like caffeine can be used to treat ADHD, I wouldn't recommend trying this because most people *will* just get more hyper.
