Sukiya gyuudon - tops out at about 1k yen (for mega size, not a combo) usually looking at more like 400-600.

Pizza Hut delivery (not even gourmet) - 2k and up. Not American-sized megapizza, human-sized personal.

Pizza in Japan is -really- expensive.

You can get single slices from supermarkets though, it's pretty reasonable.

It wasn't a fast food chain, but I was in a restaurant, by myself, seeing if it would be good to introduce my friends to. I walked in and they had a menu there already. No one came to serve me even though it wasn't a self-serve or go to counter to order restaurant. I was fine though since they were a bit busy and I had time to spare. I sat there listening to music and whoosh 2.5 hours go by and they were at last orders. I had my music on still so I didn't hear it, but 10 extra minutes go by and then someone asks me whether I was waiting for someone. I told them, I had been in there since early evening and that I was waiting to place my order, upon which the waiting staff apologised to me and told me I could come back for a free meal. I never went back and told myself, I should have asked instead.

At least Fusou got water... TT_TT
