Panel 2 seems to be a photo of the departure board (b4trans looks like a bunch of flights are cancelled or delayed due to bad weather) rather than a drawing of the board by Mizuki -- look at the airline logos in the third column.

Knowing her luck, it probably got canceled again.

Given the previous flight was bumped to late that afternoon, I don't hold out much hope that the 9am flight won't get cancelled.

I've squinted at that one final column header in panel 2 (just after "Weather"), but I can't make it out, even with waifu2x enlargement. Can't seem to find a high-res photo reference either.

The survey's intention is discussing tension:

When do you get nervous?
• Announcement of who passed a test
• Announcement of lottery numbers
• Final lap of horse races, etc.
• Just before a love confession
• Being on stage at karaoke with all eyes on you

The only reader-added tags right now are "A miracle, in a sense", and "A survey from which we understand Papa-gasa's feelings".

I believe that's 「普通席」, which means "General Seats".

Thanks. Where could I have gone to find this out myself, if you have any suggestions? I tried visiting some Japanese airport sites and doing image searches for airport monitors, but none that I saw (not even directly from New Chitose) had that "General Seating" column header.

Well, I just searched the Japanese word and found a whole bunch of Japanese airport websites talking about how you can get general seating and such. Being fairly fluent in Japanese helps a lot in these cases.

As for what you could have done...I don't know. You could perhaps use a Kanji website to piece together the word, then use a translate, but given how blurry the picture is...I don't know how to help you there.

This is the long way around, but knowing the dates of the convention and knowing that he posts a lot of photos to Twitter, I scrolled back to around that date and found the tweet and its linked higher-resolution photo. Still a bit tight but enough to verify TwinLeadersX's reading.
