Why did she say "nasi goreng" instead of "fried rice"?

Because the fried rice is fried with "Indonesian" style? It looks like the stereotypical nasi goreng.
Or it just happen for the same of pun.

"Nasi goreng", or ナシゴレン (written as Nashi goren), the joke here whenever she said "nashi" it would be changed to "nyashi". Just like laisy said, it's for the sake of the pun.

I don't know what Japanese normally says for fried rice, from what I get, there are many ways to say fried rice.

You can see a similar joke here

Can you say "nashi¹" once more?
    What?
    Nyashi.
    Then what's this dish?
Uhhm.... Nyashi goreng? Nasi goreng; (in Japanese it's written as nashi goren, meaning fried rice.
    So it's really "nyashi"?
    Whaaat?
Huh? Just now she said "nashi¹" as "nyashi"?
    Huh?
    Tanashi A city in Tokyo
    Tanashi!
Then how do you read this?
    Mutsuki-chan, it's a nashi¹! ¹Nashi = pear
A great discovery! She really said "nashi" as "nyashi"!
    Hurray!! Nyashi-nyashi!!
