How is Haruhi still getting spreads in Megami and Newtype?
it's been half a decade since the last anime that was truly part of the series.

Well this is the 10th Anniversary of the series, and they announced a release of a complete box set of the soundtrack to celebrate it. There was something else, but I don't recall what.

Because fans still read the Light Novel? Just because the Anime companies stop producing the anime doesn't mean the Manga-kas stop writing the story.
