I've read that japanese cellphones are waterproof. Even I use my tablet Xperia Z1 while taking a shower.

Wait, i know that when taking a shower you're supposed to have the curtains on the inside of the tube so the water drips into it, but what's the point of having them in the water when you're taking a bath?

Well, it's not like you'll get the curtains out when you exit from the bath either.

Anything is valid when it comes to phones and tablets as long as you don't think it's a bright idea to charge it and use it while bathing.

Not all cellphones I reckon. Xperia itself was marketed to be waterproof. My own Xperia Z3 could take on any liquid without any issues as long as the ports are sealed.

I don't care how waterproof anything with a circuit board says it is, that's insurance against accidents, not something to be taken for granted.
