    I think the implication is that she tried to save Nitori but Nitori got osaed into a pair of boots as all the fish she(?)'s previously gotten.

    Never considered Osa-alchemy to be Midas Touch-like. That would explain the trembling, I guess. Good thing Nitori has lives left.
