The typical ratio of Workers to Soldiers is 10:2.
Normally only Soldiers handle dangerous situations, but in case of emergency, a Soldier can conduct commands to a Worker.
Because the chest armor is thick, the honey sacks are comparatively small. During long missions, they also carry flasks containing honey.Larva
The larval form of every caste. Every individual passes through this stage of development as they grow to their mature form.
Changes to every individual are acquired (via the royal jelly), so they're all in this form as pupas.
Anyway, they eat a lot. When hungry, their mouths cry out demandingly.
