I have no idea if these topics have already been covered in older threads so I'm just going to drop this here. There are a number of things about the world of Pokemon that raises a few questions if the series had a more serious and realistic setting.
After the release of Pokemon Go I started seeing the odd bits of art of older guys or girls luring and preying on kids with promises of helping them find rare Pokemon. This got me thinking about how the Pokemon world has young kids leaving home often alone to head out into the wild where anyone could be hanging around to grab them and do whatever they want with them, rape or human trafficing.
Another part of the travelling out in the wild is all the wild Pokemon. Surely there would be the risk of being attacked, killed and probably eaten by wild Pokemon. I don't think I've ever heard of wild Pokemon killing and eating each other either. That also raises the use of Pokemon as food. Speaking of dangerous Pokemon we have seen numerous types with very destructive capabilities. Such Pokemon would be very deadly if used by an aggressive military or they could simply turn on humans by themselves.
Lastly is Pokemon bestiality. Like that sub plot of Chobits with the guy who wanted to marry his persocom could there be those in the Pokemon world who would have a secret relationship with their Gardevoir, Lopunny or some other feminine Pokemon or some with masculine Pokemon?
This being a franchise aimed at children it would never touch upon these kind of issues, just random things I got to wondering about if the series took a more dark, gritty, real life kind of setting.
Hey boy ♡ you're just walking around with your smartphone aren't you?Why don't you and I go somewhere alone and have a talk together? ♡♡I found myself a cute Pokemon♡
