Solaris ＜skeletal excrescences＞
Page 213 from a Japanese translation of Lem's novel ”Solaris”, published under the title "Under the Sun of Solaris" by Hayakawa's small paperback (1977).
I love Soderbergh's 2002 movie alot... At the end of the story Solaris-tan showed extreme empathy for George Clooney. She was a completely different figure from the novel.
"Under the Sun of Solaris" was translated from Russian to Japanese by Iidda Norikazu.
The new Japanese translation, from Polish by Numano Mitsuyoshi, was published in 2004.
