Depending on what you cherry pick, the Pokemon world ranges from a post-post-apocalyptic world where war is extinct because humanity/pokemon already nuked themselves back to the stone age and no one wants to go through that shit again to a gun/pokemon utopia where police/military/security services are a mere formality since nearly everyone is armed/owns a pokemon and thus can defend themselves.
