But due to how fast and powerful a Vampire's attack can be she may not have been able to properly block some (and even when she does, it clearly leaves a mark). But since she is used to the damage she just continues on, happy to teach the misses what she knows.
Also, love the skin colour difference. Makes Remilia look properly pale without over-exaggerating it and it is a nice contrast to Meiling more healthy skin colour.

It one of those things about teaching a far superior person in terms of speed and power about the nuance of martial arts.
Imagine if Superman knew some high level karate or the like. He'd be way more broken than he usually is.
Also, the fact that Remilia is even going this route means she realizes she's not unstoppable, but due to the dull look on her face she still doesn't quite grasp how martial arts are suppose to make her stronger.
But knowing Meiling she won't give up on her mistress and keeping trying.

The other commenter's interpretation is probably wrong. Look at the source and the artist's other works for the picture. This is a cover for a doujin.
To be honest, the writers for Superman just said that to make him sound even more, well, Super-man. The fact is that the reason why you almost never see him use anything like that is due to the writers/artist lack of familiarity to the martial arts he knows. Trust me, some of these martial arts would have come in handy to defend himself more effectively in his clashes against doomsday/other similarly powerful entities.

The cover can't be related to the subject matter of the doujin? Well, that is kind of odd. But perhaps you are right. We have never seen a front cover that is related to the subject matter of a comic/manga/story at all have we? Heck, the character on the front covers never even appear in most comics at all!
Okay, I will drop the sarcasm. But seriously, how would the fact that it is a cover for a doujin lessen my guess in any way? In fact, wouldn't it possibly strengthen it since the artist drew this with it with the intention of it being for a story they were working on?
Though it could also be that the front cover was supposed to tell a bit of a story on its own. Have you taken that into consideration? That sometimes happens as well.
Either way, the reason why I made that guess is due to how she is holding remi's hand and her state. Either she is checking for slight damage on Remilia's skin (unlikely due to her vampiric regeneration) or teaching her how to clench her fist. I have practiced martial arts so I find how she is holding Remi's hand extremely similar to how my martial art teacher showed us how to clench our fists.
Edit. Have checked the samples and honestly it doesn't really disprove (or prove) my guess at all.
