The official Twitter account for the Yuki Yuna Is a Hero television anime series announced on Sunday that the anime is getting a second season in 2017. The sequel is titled Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru: Yūsha no Shō (Yuki Yuna Is a Hero: Hero Chapter).
The anime will be a sequel the Yuki Yuna Is a Hero television anime, and will also adapt author Takahiro and illustrator BUNBUN's illustrated novel series Washio Sumi wa Yūsha de Aru (Washio Sumi is a Hero).
The anime's first half (six episodes) will be the adaptation of Washio Sumi wa Yūsha de Aru titled Yūki Yūna wa Yūsha de Aru: Washio Sumi no Shō (Yuki Yuna Is a Hero: Washio Sumi Chapter). The anime will first have theatrical screenings in March 2017 before the anime airs on television.
