EDIT: What's with DeviantArt links? I detect many of them to be wrong. First the http://hidemaru_kyu.deviantart.com/gallery/#/danhxr7 type links are temporary and die short after. Second, permanent links should look like http://hidemaru-kyu.deviantart.com/art/Touhou-doodle-Presidential-Election-Special-2-644129827 by copying or clicking the art title. And third, for some reason "-" are exchanged by "_" characters.

@rom_collector: Danbooru can't convert the source http://orig05.deviantart.net/4432/f/2016/310/7/5/touhou_doodle___presidential_election_special__2__by_hidemaru_kyu-danhxr7.png into http://hidemaru-kyu.deviantart.com/art/Touhou-doodle-Presidential-Election-Special-2-644129827 because the id needed for that (644129827) isn't in the image link. But the image does have the gallery id (danhxr7), so Danbooru generates a gallery link instead. AFAIK DeviantArt redirects the gallery link to the right place so it still works.

The underscores are because Danbooru takes the artist name from the image link, where it's written with underscores.

It's strange but sometimes I find the conversion not to work, however that must be my fault by managing NoScript per site by hand, my bad. Now it makes sense, or rather someone finally explained. Thank you.

If you find posts where it doesn't work and you're sure it's not your computer, report it in topic #9127 so it can be investigated.

I think I found the problem, my software prevents redirects. Deviantart will obligatory reach a 404 page, but after a short period of time it tries alternate URLs reaching successfully the image's page. Because of that I get stuck on the 404 page while anyone else will look at the source URL just fine.
