Did you mean "map"? Because that's the Nazi flag on the wall, not the Soviet one. As for the map, either this place used to be a Soviet office that had been recently taken over by the Nazis, or it's a Nazi office built on Soviet territory and the map is for use by the Nazi commander charged with directing the invasion of the USSR (which is either this Asuka or her CO).

Indeed I meant map. Those could be plausible explanations but I'm inclined to think not. If Alaska is depicted as an SSR I think maybe we should use a tag for alternate history or similar.

Gold and platinum users can vote on posts also when they favorite something it is voted up. I believe janitor/mod/admin/builder also get voting ability. Also there is a "super voter" position and I've only seen one person with this, their votes count 3x as much. see help:users for differences in user types and maybe consider getting gold if you use the site a lot.
It seems people with voting permission have a better eye for quality and artistic merit. Member level people seem more interested in their favorite characters or explicit sexy stuff and haven't melted their brains looking at millions upon millions of these pictures :)

This is an extremely subjective opinion here. Who has the right to determine who has a better eye for quality and artistic merit than others? Much of the artist critiques (twats) tend to be elitist asshats who think their opinion is better than others because they THINK they have a better eye for quality.
