    I hear that complimentary colors are color schemes that make other colors stand out well but...

    I tried testing it out for the sake of having the school swimsuit make the skin color stand out, given that I didn't know what the theory was to create a deep blue color.

    I had to do some mental juggling to figure out this one since the first time I provided commentary I misread what what he meant over the "紺色になった説は知らなかったので" clause. I believe it flows much better this way when you put the clauses together like this, but someone who's better at these long sentences might offer some more help if it doesn't sound quite right.

    Thank you for improving the wording of the commentary translation. I'm still weak at English...
    By the way, it seems you omitted "the school swimsuit" from your revised commentary. I think the author's aim of this illustration is to confirm the reason why the Japanese school swimsuit is colored deep blue.
