I'm more worried about the pilot. You know, "Bomber Jackets" are those really warm coats that bomber pilots used to wear back in WW2 because they flew so high up before there were things like pressurized cockpits. However cold the ice cream gets is how cold the pilot is getting. Strictly speaking, you could make ice cream the same way by just taking a trip to the arctic.
Also, to make proper ice cream and not just a block of ice with some frozen cream in it, you need to churn the ice cream so that it can't completely crystallize. A mere bucket isn't enough, you need something mixing it the whole time.
