@ToastedWaffles: Don't fucking translate if you have to resort to machine translators.

Edit: Fixed your other commentaries, and cooled my head a little. I understand that you're trying to help, but like check_translation, check_commentary should not be used "as an excuse for substandard translations". Also, the general rule of thumb is that you should never attempt to translate something beyond your depth, and not being able to understand the source text at all (because you had to googletranslate the thing) definitely counts. Remember, a bad translation is worse than no translation, and this is definitely worse than "I like your thing".

@NNescio: Personally, I'd rather go with a bad translation than none at all so that someone can get a idea of what's being said in the commentary. Guess I'll stop trying to use Google translate and wait until some kind soul who knows their stuff gets around to it to translate it.

I'd rather not argue as if I do I'll likely get a banhammer to the face. I am not a Japanese person, I don't have a say at what higher ranking people should/shouldn't do here, nor am I a translator. Thanks for pointing it out, though.

A bad translation can more often than not be misleading due to wrong interpretation, so it's best to leave it as it is, unless one is confident enough to do the job or at least understands the meaning.
As for Google Translate, it could work when translating words, but definitely not sentences, unless you don't mind its translation trainwreck.

Rule of thumb when using Google translate: post one sentence at a time, and if it produces trainwreck, restructure the sentence. If it doesn't makes sense, google each character individually to get the alternate meaning; if there's something untranslatable, like SAN or some references you didn't get, put those words as-is.

Also, read the completed sentence. If that doesn't makes sense after three attempts, give up and pass the baton.
