Hey does this sorta death feel a bit anticlimactic, I mean she/he hunts other savage girls and some how get's killed by a grenade + rocket launcher. I mean I know it says she/he was careless, but I thought their could have been a bit more development with this character.
That aside assuming most people read up to here without skipping anything:
Anyone one else a bit curious as to why the savage girl that died in this PAGE didn't transform back into a male even though the mascot was no longer bonded to him/her?

It was probably just an actual girl, that's why. It was stated that gender wasn't really a matter, you become a girl.

To go with the World of Darkness analogy again, Hunters can almost turn killing some of the most powerful humanoid supernatural creatures in the world into a near-routine even if said creatures can snap those hunters in two like twigs. It's all about preparation so that you're kicking in an elder vampire's door with every member of the team's white phosphorous rounds already blazing while the vamp's still waking up and putting their pants on.
Also, this isn't the psycho girl who had the build-up, so it's not a payoff for the climax that this story is actually building more towards. This was more of a side-story where they built up someone who was hunting supers, so that you thought it was the psycho, then it was actually Old Man McGee, and he would have gotten away with it too, if it hadn't been for you meddling cops!
I uh... was led to believe that at this point, big blonde guy would be Yellow Star girl. But then again there WERE two other living Savage Girls seen besides our mains. I guess this Green Dot one was a "dark counterpart" of sorts and Yellow Star was a total vigilante. Different targets for different predators with similar means of attack.
