As a side note, I saw Jolly Gardevior and thought, wow, how sub-par. But then it turns out it's a physical Gardevior. I guess that 65 base attack is doing work.

I remember the times when nobody knows EV and IV other than those competitive players at Smogon and everyone plays Pokemon for fun, when breeding is just for getting more starters to trade and Shiny pokemon are not proof of status.

I didn't have anyone to trade or play with, which was really annoying considering how badly I wanted an Alakazam in Pokemon Gold.

I don't think anyone played the damn thing in NZ.

So, I guess you didn't look up IVs and EVs in order to become the best trainer in your class? I always thought competitive battling was just the natural progression of our childhood competitions.

I mean, natures are just only +10%/-10% to stats ON LEVEL 100 (if i remember correctly, Airalin is somewhere around 75? Which makes it less noticeable), so with proper EV training and IVs it would not be that bad, especialy that increased speed is pretty damn useful.

Tho that moveset... ehh...
