I didn't really care about Mareanie at first, but after seeing it fall head over heels for James I couldn't help but find it adorable. Too bad it's a pain in the arse to actually catch one in the games.

I got one of the fossil creatures (cranidos, I think), and started breeding it, traded for the other fossil creatures, and basically found I could trade for anything short of a legendary just using the dozens of fossil creatures I could spam. Never bother with rare catches again!
