Posting one's own art is severely looked down upon, and there are two reasons behind this:

• Firstly, artists tend to be biased when it comes to judging the quality of their own work. What looks good to you may be regarded as mediocre to Danbooru moderators.
• Secondly, allowing posting of own work (self-posting) will cause a sudden spike of sub-par uploads as users mistake us for another Pixiv or Deviantart, far beyond the scope and capacity of Danbooru.

We also don’t like self-advertising here. :(

Because as the guidelines say, if we make 1 exception, then we make another, and another, and another then this site becomes Deviantart.

If your art is truely good, someone will find it to upload it. Simple as that.

Wow you are really good on searching :D I'm just a friend of Mirco, i'm a writer and for help him i've post a promotional post in this forum.

It has been reviewed by 7 moderators. 7 did not like the post enough to approve it.

Perhaps the problem was the quality of the picture in the end.
