Just stood up and twisted my waist to see how close I could get. I was able to get my shoulders and chest to about the same position pretty easily. My waist however, not so much. So yeah, her waist rotation is a little exaggerated, but not to the point that it really detracts from the image as a whole.
The first thing that jumped out at me in this picture was the artist's apparent love of the character. Second, her limbs are well proportioned. Third, lens flare isn't overdone while simultaneously helping convey the feeling of an un-pictured Savannah landscape. Fourth, I think the artist watched Konosuba recently.
