Pretty much. Cup noodle just has this taste that is unique. You could be feeding me the best hand made Udon, and I will still go back to maruchan sooner or later.
Rice soup is pretty good too. My mom used to make it for me with fish, green onions, mushrooms and soy sauce. Goes great with pan fried beef ho fun too.
