A surprisingly large number of tags are related to color, aren't they?
Edit: I guess it's really subtle, but Grey Wolf's eyes are different shades.
Well, when you add color to a basic tag, it causes the number of tags to explode. I.E. just "ribbon" is one tag, but if it's "[color]_ribbon", you get a dozen or so tags just relating to one item.

People don't always end up tagging those kinds of [color]_[item] tags though.
Example: rei_no_himo, in its original form (and most depictions), is a blue ribbon. Most of its posts are tagged with ribbon, but only a small fraction are tagged with blue_ribbon.
