Came out of left field. You had this cute lil story with vague undertones of something bad happening in the past but then all of a sudden they have this scene where one of the main characters could be gone. Its like if your where watching a sitcom and all of a sudden they announce that a major character is dead.

Very much, so many hints of terrible thing happened in the past, I think Tsuchinoko dropped the biggest hint and then it was all subtle then, BANG tears and panic
