Just what the hell is going on?
My guess is that she's that girl from Reiji's old squad that didn't get 'converted' properly. IIRC it's mentioned in earlier chapters that they use corpses to make shipgirls so that's a posibility. Can't really remember if she was a medic though.
On the other hand, since they use "that" to make shipgirls it shouldn't be too hard for Imuya to get a replacement (assuming she survives).
