Mother Brain and Samus
Another assignment for Artgerm 's class!
The theme for this one was a personified/humanized creature or monster, and I chose Mother Brain from the Metroid series. I referenced the "tusked demon mask" look she had in the original game. Here they are in a boss room constructed from solid Zebetite :) (Smile)
I learned a lot here in terms of shading. Cutting out the highlights on Samus' head to show the shadow of the giant hand makes it look a lot more realistic to me!
I don't quite have a backstory on what happened to Samus in this scene, but I'm sure she'll be fine...?
