That's classic Marisa line, but that's not what's being said up there. Translation seems to be pretty much correct, though I can't get it exactly.

Well, Sanae is human, so her lifespan is about as long as Marisa's.

But it's the subjective message that matters.
"I'm merely borrowing them until YOU dies" means she has absolutely no intention to return the books at all.
"I'm merely borrowing them until I die" would mean Patchouly can have the books back, wich is not Marisa's intention at all.

Well maybe she says it that way to prevent Patchy from trying to make good on Marisa's words...<.<
