However, I'm told that the line really refers to something that he doesn't possess (ie. something singular and tangible), as opposed to a lacking quality. That sorta makes sense in this context, but I don't know how you canvass opinions on such a thing, it's not really subjective. Likewise for the other aforementioned one. Corrections welcome!
